![]() Then it's just a matter of finding recipes that can take these items and result in an item with different ingredient types, such as "Lumber" "Metal" or "Ore", etc. Once you hit 999 quality (using Quality+ traits) and maxed out whatever traits for your current alchemy level, you can use the Zettel to pass these traits onto items requiring "Fuel" or the Natural Cloth for items needing "Plants" or "Cloth". ![]() Then just repeat the loop, Alch Fiber -> Natural Cloth -> Zettel -> Repeat Zettel is a "Fuel" and one of the Trait nodes on Alchemy Fibers requires a "Fuel", so you can double the amount of Threads you make using those three Zettels, plus up to triple the level of whatever traits you had on them. Since Natural Cloth is a "Plant" ingredient, you can use those to make Zettel. Zettel has three "Plant" nodes leading up to a node which unlocks its "Synth Quantity +1" node. Keep your traits safe, and you won't have to rebuild them over and over again.Īlchemy Fibers are used to make Natural Cloth. These should form the bulk of your alchemy. In general, I found it very useful to split items into two major variants. Use it to power up traits and make more powerful zettel. Zettel's next item loops back into the zettel recipe. Many early recipes that give 1 or 2 items, and zettel can keep on stacking to give 4 or more. The zettel is a very flexible item that gains +synth items, which is HUGE. Zettel and its upgrade is the first loop I found that really takes off. For example some traits add brand new healing to an item, which you can transplant to a buff item to create a pretty powerful all heal. ![]() Take advantage to transplant traits across anything. Later tools let it branch into thread, bugs, food, and other common things. The lumberjack axe can turn metals into lumber, and the scythe can turn metals back into ores. Gathering tools are very powerful for pulling traits across item types. Early game, alchemy fibers are easy to loop and a great way to stack up traits.
